NCV, Nepal is a volunteer based group, non-profit organization with registration no 9004. It is a group of humanitarian volunteers based in Nepal. We extend the vision and mission of the Global Noble Compassionate Volunteers group in Nepal. We are committed to carry out activities to uplift the conditions of the underprivileged communities in Nepal and also provide the emergency support in the national and international disasters.
We are a recognized as WASH partners with UNICEF in the Kathmandu Valley. We have shown tremendous support for WASH activities in IDP camps, benefitting more than 20,000 beneficiaries during the present crisis. Our activities was commended in Chuchepati Camp, which alone had more than 7000 beneficiaries, and 8 other camps where we were providing daily WASH services and pioneered special preventive campaigns to address the cholera epidemic.With UNICEF, we are now working in the health centers and Municipalities in the Valley (Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur) for the WASH program along with our consortium partners. We conduct Health Outreach programs and had conducted regular health programs in the IDP camps supported by WHO and UNICEF, since August till December.We have built a community hall along with Flextronics Ltd in DhadingSalang which benefits more than 1000 beneficiaries.
We have partnered with UNICEF, WHO, Water Mission, MSF, Tzu Chi and IOM in Nepal, for carrying out the emergency WASH services, health campaigns as well as shelter management in our IDP camps. We have also partnered with Flextronics Ltd to implement their CSR project in Nepal.
