NCV-Noble Compassionate Volunteers group is a volunteer based group which is non-governmental, non-profit, non-sectarian and non-political established in Myanmar in 2008 May after Nargis Cyclone. NCV is organized with young and active volunteers from different races and religions, from different regions of Myanmar, Haiti, Thailand, Philippines and Nepal who are enthusiastic about providing humanitarian support to the needful. NCV has provided emergency relief and recovery support at national and international level to support the victims affected by the natural calamities during Nargis Cyclone in Bogalaypyapon, MawlamyineGyun and Laputa township in Ayerwaddy Division, Haiti's Earthquake response, Thailand flood response, Phillipines Cyclone response and in Nepal Earthquake. NCV group pioneered the Cash for Work and Cash for Food program in 2008 from Nargis Cyclone disaster and has surprised many international agencies with the level of community participation and effective humanitarian project management at each of more than 100 villages in Myanmar.
